Magnolia Motor Speedway Welcomes New Class Sponsors for 2019
Columbus, Mississippi – With the 2019 season rapidly approaching, Magnolia Motor Speedway is proud to welcome a trio of new class sponsors on board.
Glenn’s BBQ and Fish is now the title sponsor for the Late Model Sportsman class, while Ranch House Diner is the title sponsor for the Factory Stock division. Last but not least, Three Star Tire and Auto is the new title sponsor for the Street Stock class.
“All three of these companies are locally-owned businesses, and it’s really cool to see them stepping up to support Magnolia Motor Speedway in a major way,� promoter Johnny Stokes said. “We are really excited for this season and having new marketing partners come on board makes it even more exciting.�
Glenn’s BBQ & Fish is located in Columbus, Mississippi. Its owner, Glenn Baldwin has been in the restaurant/catering business for over 20 years. He’s been around racing his whole life. He also owns and drives an entry in the Factory Stock Class.
Columbus, Mississippi’s Ranch House Diner was founded circa 1946. Since then it’s become a staple of the area and is currently owned by Jim and Bethany Plowman. Bethany grew up just one mile from Columbus Speedway, and regularly watched her dad (Barry Honeycutt) and her brother (David Honeycutt) race. The restaurant specializes in southern food and offers a buffet. It’s known as the place, “where the locals eat.�
Three Star Tire and Auto is located in Columbus, Mississippi and is led by Melvin Murphy. Melvin is a regular at the race track and regularly provides great drone footage of the facility. He’s been in the automotive business for more than 20 years. The company is a full-service auto maintenance and auto repair shop offering expert technicians, quick service and great customer service.
