Possum Town Grand Prix 2020 Cancelled

After looking at the extended forecast and talking with local meteorologists, officials with Magnolia Motor Speedway have made the decision to cancel this weekend’s Possum Town Grand Prix.

“We were looking forward to the upcoming weekend’s Possum Town Grand Prix, but it looks like fall has finally decided to show up because the weekend looks wet and cold. With a cold front moving into our area Wednesday bringing rain, then coming back Friday and Saturday we decided it was best to cancel now to give everyone time to make other plans,� track promoter Johnny Stokes said.

“The 2020 racing season has been a challenge, and we are very thankful and grateful for all the wonderful drivers and fans who have supported us. We hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving as we have so much to be thankful for.�

While the 2020 season is now complete, Magnolia Motor Speedway is busily preparing for the 2021 season and details will be released soon at www.MagnoliaDirt.com.
