The Possum Town Grand Prix at The MAG Thanksgiving Weekend

COLUMBUS, Miss. (11/15/22) – The 2022 edition of the Possum Town Grand Prix on Nov. 24-26 will feature the Twin River Auto Sales Crate Late Models ($3,000-to-win), Trak-Star Street Stocks $2,000-to-win), The Tri-State Modified Series / The Eaton Clinic Modified Sportsman ($2,000-to-win), William Wells Three Star Tire and Auto Factory Stock ($1,500-to-win), Murphy Towing Model Sportsman ($1,500-to-win), and The Eaton Clinic Hot Shots ($300-to-win on Saturday only).

On Thursday, November 24th (Thanksgiving Evening) we will have open practice from 6pm-9pm.

On Friday, November 25 the Twin River Auto Sales Crate Late Models will qualify and run heat races, the Trak-Star Street Stocks will qualify and run heat races, the Three Star Tire and Auto Factory Stocks will qualify and run heat races, the Murphy Towing Late Model Sportsman will qualify and run heat races, and the Tri-State Modified Series / The Eaton Clinic Modified Sportsman will qualify and run heat races.

On Saturday, November 26 the racing program includes:

• Twin River Auto Sales Crate Late Models B-Mains and Feature ($3,000-to-win/$300-to-start, entry fee $100)
• Trak-Star Street Stocks B-Mains and Feature ($2,000-to-win/$150-to-start, entry fee $75)
• Tri-State Modified Series / The Eaton Clinic Modified Sportsman ($2,000-to-win/$200-to-start, $150 entry fee)
• William Wells Three Star Tire and Auto Factory Stocks B-Mains and Feature ($1,500-to-win/$100-to-start, entry fee $40)
• Murphy Towing Late Model Sportsman B-Mains and Feature ($1,500-to-win/$100-to-Start, entry fee $40)
• The Eaton Clinic Hot Shots ($300-to-win Saturday ONLY). Hot Shots IF 15 or more entries are on hand, the feature will pay $500-to-win

Transponder Fee ALL Classes $20 (Friday and Saturday) and $5 for Practice.

NO PERSONAL VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED IN PITS.

MAGNOLIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY RULES APPLY.

PURSES, PRICES, and RACE FORMAT BASED ON 2 DAY SHOW.

Thursday Practice Pit Admission: $20.00, Kids 6-10yr $10.00, Kids 5 and Under Free. (3-Day Pit $85.00)
Thursday Grandstands Admission FREE.

Friday Drivers Meeting at 2pm Racing at 3pm
Friday Pit Admission $35.00, Kids 6-10yr $25.00, Kids 5 and Under Free. (2-Day Pit $70.00)
Friday Grandstands Admission $15.00, Kids 10 and Under FREE. (2-Day Grandstand $30.00)

Saturday Drivers Meeting at 2pm Racing at 3pm
Saturday Pit Admission $35.00, Kids 6-10yr $25.00, Kids 5 and Under Free.
Saturday Grandstands Admission $20.00, Kids 10 and Under FREE.
