COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Headed to the Cotton PIckin'

Logan Martin Leads the Standings in Pursuit of Third Series Title

CONWAY, Ark. (10/07/24) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) is headed to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) this week for the 2024 edition of the Cotton Pickin’.

The weekend is capped by a $20,000-to-win finale on Saturday, October 12.

Heading into the homestretch of the season with just four nights of racing and three point events remaining, Logan Martin is the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man atop the series standings in pursuit of his third series crown. He holds just a 30-point advantage over second-place runner, Morgan Bagley with B.J. Robinson only 38 markers out of the lead in third.

Kyle Beard, Jon Mitchell, Scott Crigler, Clayton Stuckey, Brandon Ball, Charlie Cole, Austin Vincent, Jon Kirby, Jarret Stuckey, and Chance Mann complete the latest series standings.

While a great battle rages for the championship, the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle is equally good with Brandon Ball holding a 36-point advantage over Austin Vincent.

The Cotton Pickin’ weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway kicks off with an Open Practice Session on Thursday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. CT for all divisions.

Friday night will see preliminary action for the Cotton Pickin’ as the CCSDS Super Late Models will qualify and contest heat races. Additionally, Crate Late Models, MSSS Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Late Model Sportsman, and CRUSA Modified Sportsman will run their heat races.

B-Mains for all divisions will be contested on Saturday night Cotton Pickin’ Championships feature events will be held for all divisions, and the New Crown Vic Class will join the program as well.
